Places Not On Maps is the result of 2 years of work in the studio with Tommy Byrnes at Sovereignty Muslc in Bernardston, MA. Though I initially came to Tommy with the songs already written, It quickly turned into a collaborative project. Synths played an integral role in the production, and satisfied as a reference to our mutual love of 80's Punk, Pop and New Wave. We also had several guests come into the studio which added diversity and more new sounds to the mix. The result is a mellow album that references a wide variety of genres, styles, and musical influences. Each song captures the themes of love, loss and travel in its own unique way.
