When I was in high school, I had a rather eccentric math teacher who told us about the “Triangular theory of love” (not to be confused with a “love triangle”). It states that there are three “arms” that make up a complete love - intimacy, passion and commitment. If you have only one or two of these arms, then you have different versions of love.
